Leg 2 · Batangas Pier → Balatero
Public ferries from Batangas Pier cross to Balatero pier in Puerto Galera. Crossing time is roughly 70 to 120 minutes depending on operator and sea conditions; fare is about 600–800 PHP per person. Operators include Montenegro, Island Water and Galerian Shipping Lines (Montenegro is usually fastest and most punctual). Muelle is no longer the standard arrival pier for current public ferry trips, and the old Batangas → Sabang public ferry route is also discontinued.

Pre-book through Capt'n Gregg's or a Puerto Galera transport operator before you leave Batangas — these boats do not have walk-up counters at the public pier.
Use this option if you have a group, heavy dive gear or arrive late in the day after the public ferry windows.
Once you arrive
Capt'n Gregg's is right on the sand at Sabang Beach. Check into your beachfront room, refuel at the waterfront restaurant and bar, and head out to the 45+ Puerto Galera dive sites with the in-house team. New divers can start a PADI dive course the morning after arrival.
